Is Blossoming Lotus closed? How about Lotus Root? Hope you are doing well.

Yes both are closed on Kauai as of the end of 2008. Our Portland location is still open.
Thanks for asking. We are still writing books and teaching classes.

Hi Mark
Great to see you on your blog !
Are your 2 restaurants in Kaui closed temporarily because of your Euro trip?
I noted from your blog that you’ve included recipes which are baked ( exposed to heat), eg. the Choc Mint Chip.Is this considered raw? All this while, raw is uncooked, natural & not exposed to any heat.

Enjoy!
