Vegan Fusion Intensive – Day 8 – Raw Foods – Pate’s, Pasta & Pudding
Today we began our three day journey into raw food cuisine. We checked on the progress of our sauerkraut, rejuvelak, and sprouted clover seeds. We made Wasabi Ginger Pate, which we served in nori rolls with a Mango Chile sauce, and stuffed in dehydrated mushrooms. We also prepared Pesto Pasta Puttanesca with Zucchini ‘noodles’. Jennifer elegantly decorated the chocolate the cake we prepared yesterday. We prepared chocolate mousse, which we will enjoy as part of a raw pie on Day 10. We prepared herb flax crackers for tomorrow and started our buckwheat granola, which we will enjoy on Day 10 with our live pie.
