Vegan Fusion Chef Training – Day 10 – Raw Foods – Pizza, Tacos & Pies
The 10th day is over. What an incredible experience this has been. Today was the third day of raw food creation. One of the students, Kristin, served as acting kitchen manager and facilitated the preparation of several of the dishes. We prepared fillings for our Choco Tacos – papaya tomato salsa, raw sour creme and chipotle chile sauce. We served our pizzas with cashew cheese and local organic arugula and a side of Rainbow Kale Salad. Our beverage today was a raw cacao-based aphrodisiac elixir. For dessert we had a live cheeze cake with a chocolate mousse filling. Also enjoyed was raw key lime icecream with raspberry sauce.
This was a very bonding experience for everyone. All of the students feel their skill level and confidence in the kitchen has increased dramatically. It was particularly meaningful for Jennifer and I to work with people willing to make such a commitment to their health. I am sure we will stay in touch. We will be posting a promotional video for the trainings as well as some video testimonials from the students shortly. For now, here are some parting words from one of the students:
